The report presents data about the growth of Internet in India from March 2012 to March 2013.

Here are 30 important facts of how Internet use in India changed in the last one year:

India now has the world’s third largest internet population – after China and the US. It grew from 56.3 million in March 2012 to 73.9 million in March 2013, a jump of 31%.

India now has the second largest online population in Asia Pacific. Its share has grown from 9.3% to 11.5%.

Brazil is the only country in the world to record a higher Internet growth – 37% as against India’s 31% in the last one year.
