11 AI Tools That Can Supercharge Your Content

By Sunil Saxena

My experimentsI’ve spent decades in the media world, first as a journalist and then as a media academic. I’ve seen a lot of changes, from cold type technology to the arrival of computers to the internet. But I have not seen anything like Gen AI. It is the powerhouse that is recharging the way content is created.

There are 11 AI apps that I personally use — and which I believe every content creator should explore.

1. CoPilot: Your Built-in Writing Coach

This app is virtually a writing buddy for generating quality text. It works right inside Microsoft Word, and helps improve text, sentence by sentence. What’s more, you don’t have to change tabs. The changes are made on the same page.

All that you need to do is to highlight the sentence, click on the CoPilot icon and ask the app to rewrite it. For every sentence that is submitted to CoPilot, the app generates three variations. You can pick the one you like or refine the suggested sentence.

It’s like having a personal editor that’s available 24/7. Great to write quality blogs, reports, articles etc.

2. ChatGPT 4o / Google Gemini: Headline Heroes

Are you struggling with headlines? You’re not alone. Even experienced writers sometimes get stuck.

This is where tools like ChatGPT 4o and Google Gemini can come to your rescue. You can feed them key points of your article, and they’ll generate a list of engaging headlines.

This is not to say that ChatGPT will deliver a stunning headline every time. There will surely be times when the suggested headlines will fall flat. But they will give you ideas to cobble a stunning headline.

3. Merlin AI: Master Your Emails

This app is your secret weapon to write clear, polite, and effective emails when you are reaching out to news sources, collaborating with clients in advertising or PR, or building your community.

It even crafts creative subject lines that can motivate people to open them.

4. Leonardo AI and Canva: Your Image Generation Duo

There are plenty of image generation apps out there, but my favourites are Leonardo and Canva AI.

Leonardo can generate images in different styles, create illustrations, and even anime-style graphics. The app also has a prompt enhancing feature that sharpens and enhances prompts.

Canva, which many of you probably already use, has integrated AI tools in its Magic Studio. You can use them to generate highly realistic images. Both the apps allow you to edit and improve the images generated by them making visual storytelling a breeze.

5. Eleven Labs and Revoicer: Bringing Text to Life with Voice

Eleven Labs is a fantastic tool for converting text into natural-sounding speech. And if you want to take it a step further, check out Revoicer. This powerful app not only converts text to voice but can also introduce human-like emotions, making it perfect for storytelling in videos or short films.

6. Invideo: Faceless Videos Made Easy

Want to create engaging videos without necessarily being on camera yourself? Invideo is your go-to app. This AI app specialises in creating “faceless” videos.

You can provide a script, or sometimes even just a one-line concept, and Invideo will generate a video using stock footage, music, and text overlays.

You can tweak music, visuals, even the script — all inside the app. It’s like having a mini video studio on your laptop.

7. InstaDoodle: Visual Storytelling Reimagined

If you love doodling, you have to check out InstaDoodle. This app takes doodling to a new height. It helps you generate attractive illustrations and backgrounds for your story, allows you to easily embed voiceovers into each slide, and then seamlessly converts your entire storyboard into a polished video ready to be shared online. It’s a great way to create unique, animated content.

8. Napkin AI: Infographics and Mind Maps in a Snap

Ever needed a mind map, infographic, or visual summary. Then, Napkin AI is the right app. Currently, it is in the beta version and has limited templates but can convert data into impressive graphics.

So, go ahead, experiment with these tools. Pick the ones that fit your style,
and create smarter, faster, and better content.
